DESCRIPTION:The Oxford Guild is proud to host Susan Davis\, CEO of BRAC on Monday 19th January (Monday 1st week) from 7pm in the Blue Boar Lecture Theatre of Christ Church College. BRAC is the largest NGO in the world\, reaching more than 126 million and employing 100\,000 people\, 70% of which are women.\nBRAC’s aim is to take the poorest people from the poorest countries and bring them together to learn to read and write and create their own businesses. Their particular focus is women.\nSusan Davis is current CEO of BRAC USA but is also on the board for a number of other charities focused around women in developing countries such as African Women’s Development Fund.\nThis will be an amazing event for anyone interested in international development or the plight of women internationally.\nJoin us at 7pm in the Blue Boar lecture theatre\, Christ Church on Monday of first week (19th Jan). \n
